Backyard fun!

We love to hang out in the backyard, especially now that we have a fence!! It's my saving grace somedays. The kids went swimming in the pool the other day, Gage loves to play baseball, and Macy loves to cheer him on. Both of the kids LOVE to be outside, and mommy doesn't mind too much either.

Splish Splash!

We took advantage of the beautiful weather yesterday and went swimming at the pool. We wanted to go to the waterslides but they were closed yesterday so we went to the pool instead. We went with Jenny, Randon, and Paige and the kids had an absolute blast! Gage was a little fishy and Macy loved the water. She just splashed around and took it all in. We'll definitely have to go back!!!

A prayer from Gage

We were saying prayers before bed last night and Gage is getting quite long-winded in his prayers. He folds his arms, closes his eyes, and uses a high pitched voice. Very sweet. This was his prayer last night.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this day, and dinner, and for daddy's trailer, and my tractor, and daddy's truck, and Macy and mommy and daddy, thank you for Pason, Carter, Levi, Austin, Peyton, Jordan, Brylee, all my friends, gramma and grampa, please help me sleep good, please help me shoot the kitty, love Jesus,
name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Isn't that precious---I love the part about the kitty. Oh the innocence of a child.

Ready, Set, Bloom!

I've gotten to be quite the Mrs. Greenthumb if I do say so myself and I am patiently waiting for all of my roses to bloom. They have lots of buds on them and I'm just waiting for them to open, so here is a before picture and I'll post an after picture when they all bloom. I love flowers (especially roses) just like my Grandma Gage.

#1 Daddy

We had a wonderful Father's Day and Macy and Gage are so lucky to have Steve as a daddy. He loves his children so much and loves to spend anytime at all with them. Here they are after church on Sunday! Aren't they adorable????

3 Days Dry!

I am happy to report that the potty training is going wonderfully!!!!! SURPRISE, SURPRISE! Gage has been doing great and has stayed dry for 3 days in a row with no accidents, knock on wood! He is telling us when he has to potty and even poo on the potty. I'm sort of shocked he's done this well, but we are so proud of him. I'm hoping he keeps it up and it isn't just a fluke. I'll keep you posted!!!

I Did It!!!

I'm so proud of myself for being able to change my background without losing everything. It took me awhile, but I did it. We are in the middle of potty training (more like mommy training) and it is much tougher than I thought. He says I go potty, but then he goes in his unders instead of the toilet. My mom said he'd be good in a week.......that would be wishful thinking. Wish me luck!!!!
