Random Sampler

I have been really bad about posting in a while so here are just some random things we've been doing the past few weeks!
*I attempted to make my grandma Bernice's cinnamon rolls and I have to say they didn't turn out half bad. Not as good as hers of course, but pretty darn good!

*After weeks and months of nagging, Steve finally put a dent in the kid's clubhouse that he's been promising to build (since last May). We've gotten to a good stopping point, and although we still have some to do, this is great for now. Thanks honey!

* I finally got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was a solid 154...music to my ears. Nothing like seeing the doctor until you're 13 weeks along! Still feeling great!

*Gage and Macy have been busy as can be playing outside on their new playground, playing in the sandbox, riding in daddy's tractors, and being quite the little handfuls! Gage has said some funny ones lately! I told him to put his shoes on and after he did he came up to me and said "Mom are these ones appropriate?" I about died. Also we were down at the river and he dropped his drawers to pee on a tree and his dad did the same. I said "UH, you guys are sick!" Gage asked why and I said "Your dad is peeing on a tree too," to which Gage replied "Well I'm peeing on a tree seven" Such adorable little minds!

*Macy is getting busier and busier every single day and has quite a little attitude. I guess she takes after her mommy! We love her to pieces and we're currently getting ready for the transition for the two of them to share a room. YIKES!!

Anyways, that's been our life in a nutshell, and I'm sure there will be many more exciting things to come!

Eggstavaganza

The best photo of them in their adorable Easter outfits

One of the successful blue eggs we were able to get
She had way too much fun!

We had a very busy but beautiful Easter weekend full of lots of activities! It started Friday night with the wonderful event of dying easter eggs. Well after about 2 eggs into it, Gage was trying to retrieve his blue egg and of course spilled the dye all over the countertop, side of the counter and the floor. It was a huge BLUE mess and he was heartbroken over the whole thing. So that only left us with pink and yellow to dye with, but they still had a great time. Macy would throw the egg in the dye, very gracefully of course, and put her whole hand in to get it out. It was such a lovely mess! Saturday we went over to my aunt Shirley's house in Billings to have dinner and play with lots of cousins and of course my camera was dead so I have no pictures but the kids had an absolute blast. The Easter bunny completely overdid it with the candied eggs and the easter egg hunt, but Gage and Macy were thrilled to find the eggs and Gage couldn't run fast enough to find them. They came home with lots of goodies and we had had stuffed bellies from all the yummy food. Thanks Aunt Shirely and everyone there for such a great time!!! We woke up and went to church Easter morning after the kids got their Easter goodies. Gage got a new bike which he was THRILLED about even though he still can't pedal and Macy got another baby. She was very upset she didn't get a bike, but such is life. THey looked adorable in the EAster outfits but of course getting a good picture before church was quite a chore, so this is as good as it gets. We went to Aunt Pootsies later that day for Easter dinner and had yet another Easter egg hunt with lots of candy. Needless to say, we have TONS of candy, even after I went through and threw some out! THANKS to everyone for such a great Easter and it was nice to ponder on the real reason we celebrate Easter.
Macy wasn't quite sure she was awake enough to get excited. Isn't her hair lovely?

Two little fishies

We got to go help Levi celebrate his 3rd birthday at the new waterpark in Billings and boy oh boy did the kids have fun!! I don't know what happened to Gage but he turned into quite the little fishy. He is not one to usually like water all that much, but he didn't want to go home and kept begging to go back in the water. He liked the waterslides okay, but he loved the wave pool and the big hot tub he got to swim in. Macy pretty much liked it all and had a great time. Levi got lots of great stuff and we had pizza, cupcakes, and ice cream for dessert. We had such a fun time that we'll definitely have to go back again soon! Thanks to the Love family for such a great time!

Big smiles!

Yes...it's true

As you can see from our new added addition to the blog on the side that we are expecting baby number three in October. We are very excited and Gage has informed me he wants a brother because he already has a sister. We we will be grateful for whatever comes our way and we are SUPER excited to have another addition to our family!!! I'm about 12 weeks along now and am feeling great, tired, but great!! You don't have much time to be too sick and tired when you're chasing after 2 little ones. So we will be anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby number three and in the meantime we'll certainly have fun with our two we have!

Guitars ,snowmen, and lots of love

Uncle Jeffrey was on spring break this week and we were lucky enough to have him come stay with us for a couple of days. He ate me out of house and home, but we were so glad he could come. The kids loved listening to him play the guitar and I was actually impressed with how good he's gotten in just 3 months. They loved to get in on the action and we only had to retune it twice! We once again got some more snow so we decided to go outside and make a snowman. After all our hard work Gage said "I don't like that guy!" went up to the snowman, knocked his head off and pushed him over. So much for that idea! We had a great time of being lazy which I know Jeff wanted with his grueling football schedule. I hope we didn't bore him too much, but I know the kids had a GREAT time and they were sad to see him go! I was sad too.....he's a great babysitter to have around!
