All aboard!!!

Before illness hit our house Steve decided to get out all of our geotrax and build a giant train track for the kids. It takes up our whole entire front room, but the kids have been having a ball playing with it. Thanks Daddy for your great construction. I can barely make a circle with the things!!

One downfall of Motherhood

I absolutely love being a mother but I have to say the one thing I DESPISE about motherhood is cleaning up puke. Gage woke up coughing at 5 am the other morning and instead of coughing he held it in and threw up all over his bed. Then he continued to do this 3 more times but at least he had enough smarts to get it in the bucket. He used to be afraid of the bucket, but he has now decided it is okay to puke in the bucket. Macy woke up in the middle of the night last night and started gagging but never puked. Then this morning she was cranky and cuddly and didn't want to eat, which is very unusual for her. All morning she would dry heave and and gag but no puke. So of course after her bath and she's all clean she is standing in the living room, looks at me and power pukes all over her, me, the floor, and her blankets. Gage yelled "Mom get the bucket!" Well too late. I hate the smell, look, and everything about puke. She's doing better now but we'll see how long it lasts! WISH ME LUCK!!

Today it works!

I don't know what is going on with my computer but today it decided to work so I'm going to download a few pix of what's been going on in our household. We got to go outside and play today because it's like 53 degrees out. Who would have thought in January. It was great for the kids and myself to get some much needed fresh air!! We've just been hangin out and have been spending lots of time with Steve since it isn't exactly landscape weather. Here are the happenings at our house.

Here is the finished product all organized! Way to go SteveMacy has big girl hair in this picture, although a chubby face when it's all pulled back. Our little moose!

This is Gage's masterpiece......he loves to draw and paint now.

We had a little marshmallow roasting in the house. The kids loved it but only liked the marshmallows not cooked. Look at Gage in the picture below and this is how I found him sitting waiting for Family Home Evening to start. We have to put an end to that real quick. What a weirdo!!!!

I don't know what the heck is wrong but I have a sneaking suspision......GAGE AND MACY! HMMM I guess I better wait until Steve gets home to mess with it. What to do what to do. I hope he can fix it because we certainly can't afford a new computer right now!! YIKES

Resolution- get toys organized

I've been really wanting to get my kids toys organized and out of my hair and I'm finally getting it done!! Steve built a wondeful entertainment center with tons of shelves in it to put all of the toys. My kids have WAY too many toys as you can see, but hopefullly this will help declutter my living room a little bit. I've been living in chaos for the past week trying to get the toys put away and Steve building the entertainment center. I'm waiting for the paint to dry until I can get everything put away and in the meanwhile, I'm ready to go crazy. Oh well, only a day or so more. Here are a couple extra pix of the kids too. My mom wanted to see Macy in her dress she got her and here they are enjoying Jeffrey's new gift. (Thanks alot Jeffrey, I have balls all over the house!)

Here's the current mess I'm living in. You cansee where the new entertainment center isHere is the new addition (sorry my picture is sideways)Double trouble!

Christmas #1

On Saturday Dec. 20th we had a quick little Christmas at home with the kids before our whirlwind trip to CB and WA. We had a great time with the kids and this was just the beginning. When Gage got done with the presents he asked "Where are more presents?" He loved Christmas this year and Macy could have cared less but loved the paper. Here are a few pix from our little Christmas.
