We love our Red

Okay if any of you would have seen my children about two months ago when we first got our dog these pictures would be actually quite shocking to look at. When Red first joined our family both kids would scream and cry everytime he was off of a leash, would not touch him or pet him, Gage would run and jump on anything up high so he didn't have to be around him, and now look at both of them!!! Macy has actually no fear when it comes to Red and sometimes gets a little too aggressive with him. She hits him with sticks, golf clubs, grabs his lips and ears and pulls on them, feeds him anything she can possibly find and snuggles up all the time with him. Gage loves to take him on walks, brush him, hold him by the collar and lead him around and loves to sit on him and love him. I'm glad that they have a dog to love, but hate the smell when they come in from playing with him!! Maybe mommy needs to take some lessons from the kids. He is a great dog as far as dogs go and is super gentle with the kids. Hopefully he stays that way and we don't have any major accidents!

A Healthy Baby!

I had my 22 week ultrasound last week and we discovered that we are having a very healthy baby. We (I) decided that I didn't want to find out what we were having and Steve was hoping I would break down, which I almost did, but I want to keep it a surprise. All I was concerned with was if everything was okay and the baby looks great. Now I just have to start thinking of names. When I showed Gage the pictures he was very perplexed and told me that it was very dark in there. Then he lifted up my shirt looked in my belly and said "Yea mom, it's pretty dark in there." So funny. He is just for sure set on having a brother and told me Macy told him she wanted a brother too, but I'm sure he would be thrilled with another sister, even thought he says not. WE are so blessed to have 3 healthy children and can't wait to meet baby Witt in 4 months.

We're the Best of Friends

Gage and Macy are so stinkin cute together and really are starting to become great friends. They have currently been sleeping together in the same bed while we get things moved around the house (waiting on Steve) and actually do quite well with it. They snuggle up their little heads together and Gage makes sure he takes good care of her at night. Aren't they adorable. I love my two babies so much!!

Starting her young

As you can see Macy was all smiles after having her little pedicure yesterday from mama. She was sitting in her high chair and I rubbed her feet and then had the bright idea of painting her toenails. I wasn't sure if she would sit still enough for me to do it, but she was an angel, and kept saying "pretty, pretty!" She then helped me blow on them and was very proud to show her daddy and brother when they got home. She kept saying "don't touch" because I kept telling her not to touch them when they were still drying. She loves to look at them, and even though she is a little tomboy, I guess I can still try.....right???
